We spent 01 night at Serena Kim Boi Resort and were happy with the stay. The hotel is quite spacious and we much enjoy the hot spring water. The toom is nice and also has the hot spring water into the room so you can enjoy your own Onsen. There are nice tree and flower around the resort.
I was expecting a lot when I decided to go to Serena Resort Kim Boi. However, I found out that It s not that good as I expect. The room s ok, it s big enough. The place s very beautiful. But, the staff s not very helpful, there s only one restaurant. Everyday, 3 meals/day, you will need to eat there. It s expensive the food to compare with the quality

This is a nice place for relax, around 80km from Ha Noi- capital of Vietnam, you will take 2 hours to this resort. The weather here is quite cool. Resort is quite famous with hot spring (onsen) service.
Food here is good and the staff is friendly.
If you want to escape from busy life, this is really a place for you and your family.
The resort is quite new and well maintained in terms of surrounding . The thermal bath is quite ok but don’t expect it to be a proper onsen, it’s a simple bath with thermal water.
The room is quite spacious but simplistic in terms of equipments and some are quite old. The resort is not far from Hanoi in terms of distance but the road to get there is not highway so it takes longer time than we expected
The room was spacious and nice view. Our room overlooking to the river with big balcony. The bathroom was cleaning, the bed was comfortable, spa was good, food was acceptable, the landcape was nice.
The minus point was the staff English, almost staff does not speaking English.
Overall it worth to stay for a weekend getaway.
